Interesting concept re returning to Canada, First Nations 2 nation system with separate government, laws, education and justice systems. To be truly independent, that would also mean that the modern economic, infrastructure and social support systems which were not in place when treaties were signed would also have to be taken on by the First Nations communities themselves spread across the country. How would this be managed as to not impact the average person’s wellbeing? Can a population of 1.5 million people from numerous indigenous nations separated by vast land masses be self sustaining? Many questions but interesting conversation.
